ITC This
form of ITC, that enables a researcher to attain images of deceased people
via the auspices of television and video, was pioneered in the 1980s by
German experimenter Klaus Schreiber. His recording technique consisted
of positioning a video camera in front of his television set. The output
of the camera was then fed back into the television, thereby creating
a feedback loop. A swirling cloud-like effect was created by this loop
in which the spirit pictures gradually appeared over several frames. Initially
the pictures were blurred, but Schreiber persevered with the equipment
set-up over the years and the quality greatly improved. He received numerous
images of loved ones (including his daughter Karin) and well-known people.
Schreiber's work was the subject of a documentary television film and
a book by Rainer Holbe of Radio Luxemburg.
Since
Screiber's work a number of experimenters have used his and various other
video ITC methods to capture spirit images. These include Erland Babcock,
Tom and Lisa Butler - USA, Lawrence Dean and Patricia Begley - UK, Adolf
Homes - Germany, Jules and Maggy Harsch Fischbach - Luxemburg, Pascal
Jouni - France, Sonia Rinaldi - Brazil. Video ITC
